Growth
Every session is a step forward — in confidence, skill and curiosity.
Founded in 2020, we exist to raise well-rounded children. The after-school day isn't time to fill — it's time for children to build a broad range of skills and the confidence to take on challenges, in sport and in life.
Soul Campus London is the umbrella that brings together Soul Sports, our multi-sport team, and Chelsea Tennis Club, our specialist tennis partner. Schools get genuine breadth and a single, accountable provider.

Soul Campus London was founded by Alex Tromp. Alex grew up in South Kensington and is himself a graduate of the Lycée Français Charles de Gaulle — this community is home.
After an engineering degree at Imperial College London and a master's in engineering at UCL, he brought the same rigour and energy to children's sport and learning. He founded Soul Sports Kids Club, acquired and grew the Chelsea Tennis Club (formerly the Chelsea Tennis School), and today leads the number one provider of children's sports activities in Chelsea and South Kensington.
Across his programmes, more than 3,000 children have been coached — in tennis, football, athletics, basketball and netball — in both English and French.
My mission is personal. Growing up, I travelled 30–45 minutes from the Lycée almost every day — and most weekends — just to reach coaching good enough to help me progress to a competitive level. Central London has long lacked high-quality, well-structured sports programmes, and too many children and families give up on the idea rather than travel out of the city to find them.
Sport changed my life. The discipline, the resilience, learning to fail and try again — those lessons took me to Imperial College, one of the best universities in the world, and they still shape how I work and live today. Soul Campus London exists to bring that same quality of coaching and structure right here in central London, so no child has to travel across the city to find it.
Our coaches and activity leaders are DBS-checked, first-aid trained and chosen for their warmth, energy and ability to bring out the best in every child.

Soul Campus London is proud to be advised by Craig Jones, Chair of the School-Aged Childcare Association (SACA) — the body representing the UK's largest out-of-school childcare providers — and a senior leader at Junior Adventures Group, the UK's leading provider of before- and after-school clubs and holiday camps. Craig sits at the very centre of the sector, contributing to national wraparound-childcare policy alongside the Department for Education. His mentorship brings that sector-leading expertise in safe, high-quality, Ofsted-registered childcare directly to Soul Campus London as we build our provision for the Lycée community.
Every member of staff is DBS-checked and first-aid trained, working to clear safeguarding policies. Ofsted registration is currently in progress. Our coaches are LTA-accredited and FA-certified, chosen as much for how they are with children as for what they teach.
